Increase Comfort and Avoid Eyestrain with A Laptop Light
The whole point of a laptop is that you can take it just about anywhere and many of us do, taking advantage of the portability of today's laptop to do much of our work outside of the office. Sometimes, though, portability is not all it's cracked up to be. If you find yourself working in conditions with poor lighting, for example, the discomfort and potential eyestrain can limit your productivity. A laptop light provides a simple solution. These small LED illuminators, light and easy to carry, can be clipped onto your computer and provide an even, bright glow. Some types of laptop light plug into the computer, using it as a power source.
A laptop light, unlike a book light or other portable light source, is designed to provide optimal lighting that doesn't clash with the light given out by your LCD monitor. There is no glare or reflection. The laptop light also illuminates your keyboard, because despite what we learned in touch typing classes, many of us do look at the keys while we type!
Once you invest in a laptop light, you might be surprised at some of the situations in which you end up using it. For example, natural, outdoor light is not the best light for working on a laptop. In particular, sitting in indirect sunlight can make the monitor appear dim, and the curser hard to find. Try using you laptop light if you're working outdoors - you may be surprised to find that such a gentle light can make such a big difference!
