In a sense, notebook bags are like diaper bags. If you have a laptop (or a baby!) they aren't really optional - you need to have one, but the standard models that everyone used to carry around don't match most people's sense of style. With regard to notebook computer or laptops, a big change has come about in the past five years or so. As laptops have become more affordable, more people - from all walks of life - use them. As a result, notebook bags are now made to cater to a variety of tastes.

The important thing about notebook bags is that they protect your computer from jarring, bumps, moisture, and many other harmful elements while you are carrying it from place to place. Then, for those of us who don't favor either of these images, there are funky laptop bags, or designer ones. There is no need for to sacrifice style for utility!
