After investing in a laptop or notebook computer, it is up to you to protect your valuable investment by making sure that your portable computer travels safely. Putting it in a regular tote bag or knapsack or worse yet, carrying it under your arm just isn't a good idea! One approach is to purchase a specially designed laptop case, but notebook sleeves present a less expensive and more versatile option. Notebook sleeves are padded pouches specially designed to keep a notebook safe inside a knapsack or briefcase.

There are several reasons why you might want to purchase notebook sleeves instead of a notebook briefcase. For one thing, you may already be satisfied with the briefcase or bag that you have, and not wish to exchange it for another upon acquiring your laptop. You may, as mentioned before, be looking for a lower cost alternative. A notebook sleeve can transform any bag into a notebook case.

There are a few disadvantages, however. Notebook sleeves are designed to fit closely over your notebook computer, so getting the computer in and out of the sleeve may not be as quick and easy as you might wish.
